So far this is the information I have gathered on the differences between regional and national magazines. So far in my initial research I believe that regional magazines generally have a lot less information on the front and appear to go for a more minimal look unlike national magazines which because of their large variety of article options, has a lot of information, main sell lines and sell lines on the front. Doing this task allowed me to determine a number of conventions followed by both regional and national and those that are regionally or nationally specific. I uncovered a number of conventions which I will use in my own media product; conventions such as a primarily white website are common in both regional and national but allow for a clean and professional look. I will also possibly implement adverts into my magazine or website as these are important sources of revenue for regional magazines, something I noted the national products did not require of feature, presumably because they already make enough profit.
Be careful of spelling 'conclusion'. How does this research help with your final design ideas? Be specific. Can you expand this to explore websites also for comparison?
